While on our Oregon coastal trip, we stopped at a few beaches, but I only ended up taking my "big girl camera" to the beach Seal Rock.
It was around 6 pm when we arrived there, and most of the beach-goers had gone home for the day. Perfect conditions for golden light, waves, and sand mostly to ourselves!
My boys had a hey day jumping away from waves, searching for urchins in the tide pools and chasing seagulls. We stayed for a good hour and a half, just exploring this lovely place. I got quite a bit of ocean spray on my lens, but I love how it turned out. One of my favorite parts was seeing the magical light filtering through the trees on our way back to the parking lot...it was beeeutiful!
I'm a mom of 4 boys, in love with photography, especially landscapes, macro, and silhouettes.
"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place...I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." -Elliott Erwitt
