Serenity has honestly been hard to come by for me lately. With homeschooling four boys who are now 14, 12 and 9 year old twins, my days are spent with them. The afternoons are filled with running them to sports activities or friends houses, our evenings filled with scouts, other activities, and now with winter, our Saturdays have been spent on the ski slopes! It's been hard to make time for myself, but I know that when I do take some time for me, even if I have to sneak away while they work on a project, it's good for my soul! The Serenity Project is done each month with a group of some of my photography friends. Please continue through the circle to feel a bit more serenity today! Next up is Eileen Critchley, Ohio Photographer.

Emily, these are sooo good. I've been frustrated with my bird photography and haven't captured anything that I like. Thank you for the inspiration. 1/16/2019 05:58:13 pm
Oh wow, those images are of the birds are marvelous. I am so glad that you were able to take Jessica's workshop. And what a fun project that you and your son were able to work together on. 1/16/2019 07:52:47 pm
These are wonderful, Emily! You are at a point in your life where serenity is definitely hard to find - don't worry, it will come! Bird watching is definitely relaxing. I have all my feeders right outside my windows in the rooms I use the most (the kitchen, lol).

That top image is absolutely magical Emily! I love the little pop of yellow against the muted background. 2/1/2019 08:04:06 pm
