In 2014 I came up with an idea for a personal photography project. I was tired of the blah of winter and needed some color in my life, so I came up with "Building a Rainbow". In 2015, I had the idea to share it on Instagram and invited anyone else who wanted to, to participate. Then we did it again last year! So, this will be the 3rd year of building a rainbow on Instagram, and I'm so excited for it!
It's really quite easy to participate if this sounds fun to you. Just take one picture that features the color of the day, upload it to a picture calendar app (I use the Collect App from the App Store), and at the end of the month, you'll have a beautiful rainbow! Here's my rainbow from last year:

"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place...I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." -Elliott Erwitt
