SERENITY NOW! Is a phrase my husband and I use in a joking way when the boys get on our nerves. Yeah, it happens. More often than I'd like to admit. So when my friend, Iris invited me to join in a blog circle that was all about SERENITY, I totally jumped all over that like a kid in a toy store!
There are a few ways I find serenity in my life, and photography is one of them! I just love those moments when I quietly escape the loud and busy of my house with only a camera in my hand. I feel so much peace when I take a few moments with myself to just discover the beauty around me, no matter if it's alive and pretty or dead and still pretty in it's own way!
The Serenity Project is a collaborative photography project. The women who post to this project aim to bring a sense of calm serenity to their images. Please continue the circle to Jessica Nelson of The Gaggle Photography to see where she found serenity this month!
I'm a mom of 4 boys, in love with photography, especially landscapes, macro, and silhouettes.
"To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place...I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." -Elliott Erwitt
